After my high class, I got admission for my Software engineering degree in Manipal Institute of Technology. I stayed in Hostel and had no common friends. As our course started, we were briefed about the course and degree outline over the years and introduced to our teachers.
However, when teaching started I did not understand the teaching style of many teachers. In addition, when I used to go for clearing my doubts, they were hardly available. Our books were also provided late so had to study via teachings in class or online material.
The library did not have latest books and so any updated information was not available. For practicals, we got old desktop computers running on Windows 2003 so many of the functions did not even work on them. I believe the institute should improve and update their course material, equipments so that students get proper learning.
