Hi,
My father was suffering with fever in 2009. He spent almost 1 month with fever, within this time frame I was out of state and our village RMP ( bloody idiot) took him to some hospital and using medicines, (to get commission).
some time they told it's typhoid and some time they said it is due to malaria etc etc...
Finally, that doctor asked him for admission. My father was becoming weak day by day.....and I entered into the scene and took him to the Manipal Hospital Vijayawada.
They admitted him and they scraped all the previous reports and they scolded us for the use of high dose medicine... I blasted that bloody idiot RMP for the brainless things.
Dr Manok Kumar, General Physician, he is very efficient doctor and he is handling my father case.
He started treatment with fluids and antibiotics and every eight hours they used to give injections. Caring of the nurses and facilities are very good and systematic. They come in the night 2 AM with prompt to give the regular dose of anti bio-tics. pretty happy with the care.
After one week treatment no use, my father was still suffering with fever, doctor also surprised. I was also bit frustrated and I am attending my father in the hospital and I am on leave from my job.
He used some high end medicine and said this is the best medicine and there is no power full anti bio tic than this... this is the words came out from the doctor...
after 3 days no luck, so doctor also in one kind of dilemma and he called me to his room and explained that, we have done all most all kinds of blood tests and 50% is over in the investigation and the remaining 50% is either is due to T.B or Cancer.
so they have done TB test, it was negative, So I am scared now, as per doctors words, the remaining option is cancer.
Dr Krishna Reddy, well known oncologist walked into our room and introduced him self as cancer doctor (my father was not aware of these things), he physically examined my father from top to bottom and took me outside and said, he found some lymph nodes and want to do CT Scan...
during the scan process radiologist called me and asking about my father habits like smoking etc...
my father never takes alcohol or smoking etc.. he is very disciplined individual.
they found lymph nodes in the chest region and performed bone marrow for examination.I am shivering with fear and in the evening Dr Manoj called me and said bone marrow was looking normal and better we wait for the report. He said if bone marrow is negative, by default we give T.B Medicine.
I said Thank God.
Finally my father was discharged on 1st July 2009 and used the medicine for few months and now he is doing absolutely fine...
