I, G. Ambika have purchased a Maruthi Celerio ZXI AMT car bearing registration No.KA-03-MW-9954, from Mandovi Motors. Cox Town, Bangalore and the same was registered on 21/11/2015. I hereby state that within the free service period the car started to vibrate and jerk on driving forward and also while backing up and further the car on certain occasions would not start as the break would become hard and this aspect was brought to the notice of the dealers service center and the service center, this problem has continued and this is the 5th time I have given the car for rectification. Whenever the car was given to the service center with this problem, the service advisor has stated that to me that all automatic versions of this car has the vibration and jerking problem. The staff in the service center, after 13 days, they transferred the problem to a technician from Japan and stated that the problem has been solved, for which I requested the staff to give me, in writing, that this problem will reoccur. The staff at the service center have been delaying the same by stating one reason or the other. The staff at the Mandovi service center assured me that they would give the letter today by 3 p.m. and they have not bothered to call me or give the letter. After me calling Mr. Sunil at the service center, I was put on a conference call and when it did not connect, Mr. Sunil informed me that the company has decided to buy back the car and send the same to Japan and he would like to discuss the deprecation value since I had used the car for two years, for which I objected and stated that they are not resolving the problem in the car and only trying to sweep the actual problem under the carpet. It was then that Mr. Sunil put me on a conference call with Mr. Ranjith and he also stated that the company has decided to buy the car back with the depreciation value. This attitude of the Maruthi staff made me feel that they are trying to take decisions without taking my consent. I feel that this is not an isolated problem due to the service advisor's statement. I feel that many cars of this model have this problem and the company/dealer are not trying to solve the actual problem but are only trying to somehow convince the customers and leaving the problem unresolved. I feel cheated by the acts of the company which have failed to give me a good product even after collecting my hard earned money. I wish to state that this car was presented to me as a birthday gift and this has only added insult to injury. I further wish to state that I have on a number of occasions faced embarrassing situations where the car used to vibrate and jerk while driving. As it is we female drivers face a lot of problems on the road by the male drivers on the road and with this problem I have been ridiculed for no fault of mine. Due to work, I have not complained about this problem on a number of occasions as I required the car, hence I have not left the same to the service center. I have been put to untold hardships due to my car being in the service center and I have been forced to use cabs and other public transport, inspite of having my own car. I wish to state that the attitude of the staff at Mandovi has not been up to required standards as they have only given me false assurances and not kept up the same. After the talk of the staff about taking back the car, I doubt that I will be able to drive the car confidently. I wish that this problem of mine is resolved in the best interest of the customers of Maruti and the trust the people have in the said company.
