One of the beautiful beaches in costal karnataka, malpe beach is a must visit. It is situated in udupi about 55-60 km away from the city of manglore. You can reach this beach very easily once you reach udupi as there are busea, auto and cab service available. The beach itself is beautiful and kept clean. There is atv ride available amd also horse rides are available.
There are many good resorts available along the costline. This beach is popular and has many visitors hence it is safe place. But do pay attention to locals and warnings about entring the water as there are instances of people being washed away. But over great beach and from here you can also visit famous st. Marys island through ferry available.
