Excellent series by an author who wrote over 700 books for kids of different ages.
She wrote a couple of all-girls boarding school series, and this is one of them.
If you're looking for books to give to younger kids, she wrote some great ones to choose from - fantasy books, realistic fiction, and books that teach you about nature.
Worth reading once.
