when matter takes precedence over the mind!!
When dressing sense implies the dress just lessens
that's Mallika for you summed up in essence
The greatest confusion for me with regard to Mallika Sherawat is whether she is
an actress, a heroine or a model or something else..now what this else is ??please do ask someone else!!!
Lets get to the positive aspects of Mallika ...
She's got the figure
which would bring out in men the vigour!
Adding to that she shows it off
As if shes the one who has got all that stuff!!
Kissing and hissing will surely make her name but on the box office ,she will just be missing!!
Except for Murder, all her other films dint do well...and mind you Murder had got some very good songs and the plot though inspired was worth pondering!!
Coming to ground zero
Now lets get to the grilling part...the part which everybody is ready for and always willing!!
Okay agreed that she has got the guts , how many heroines who had just the guts but nothing else succeeded in Bollywood...I guess none!!
All actors can be rated or identified based on
1) Their Method :The Ada , their style, the expressions of the face, the adaptability to different roles!!
In Mallika , I could hardly find any method in her acting...except for her usual blow-in-the-air-and-in-the-mouth kisses!
2)The type of movies they chose
The subject of the movie chosen has to be different to reflect the versatility of the actor....
In case of Mallika , all the movies chosen by her seem to be movies as an excuse for the skin show and Oh!! to also show off that her skin does glow!!!
She could better advertise for any such cream available!!!
3)Dialogue Delivery
Ever liked Mallika's dialogue delivery under emotional circumstances in a movie.....???
I bet it goes from bad to worse in case her dialogue delivery is observed and nothing else while observing the same...Just
watch the parrots eye (delivery of dialogues) like Arjuna and not the parrots body |o| ,you will get to know that!!!
I cant see(hey it needs to be hear) a better voice modulation on her part whenever it is required...
One excuse that actresses of her type may give is ''Only sex and shahrukh sells''
Well, if that was the case why are other films and actresses running on top!!
And to be a good actor,one does not necessarily require very good looks i.e if one does not have very good looks does not mean that one should start showing off their skin!!
Actresses like Smita Patil, Konkona Sen Sharma did make it without that!!!
She may be compared to Hollywood actresses and may fetch some more roles too!!
But hey, there is a lot of difference between sensuality and sexuality..the quantity and the quality...Gradually people will come to judge her on the basis of her sanity rather than just insanity.
All in all she can become a good investment to producers if she adds more of acting to her skill sets and people will get both worlds of her :-).
There is no option for rating 2 and half stars here, I would have given it for her!!!
PS: These are my personal opinions, no offences meant for her fans.Any objective or subjective criticism is acknowledged and appreciated.
