Malda is one of the best tourist destination of west Bengal. Malda is known for it's historical monuments.
There are many historical monuments including Firoz Minar, Gumti Darwaza, Dakhil darwaja.Once I went with my roommate to Malda which is his native and I visited many places.
One of them is Malda Museum.This is one of the great heritage of Malda.This museum is not so popular because Malda is a small town but when I saw I felt it is very nice.Malda museum is situated in Malda town on bank of river Mahananda.
Malda is well connected by both rail and road so there is no problem of transport. Nearest airport is Kolkata.This museum is a good collection of region's architecture and anthropological specimens.I have visited many museums but this is bit different because here you can mostly see the heritage of bangal.
This covers a huge area which is well maintained.All staffs are attaintive.Timing of this museum is 10.30 to 5 pm.We all enjoyed to been there.Nearby also many places to visit.There are also many good hotels for accommodation. People must visit this place once.
