We went for lunch to Malaka Spice this weekend. Resturant was not too full at that time. The hostess was not too friendly. We were served soup after waiting for 20 minutes or so. We ordered starters and soup. To our utter surprise, there was a COCKROACHin the soup.
I brought it to the attention of the manager. He said sorry but was not too concerned. He replaced the soup. He did not offer anything extra for this aweful mistake until I told him that he needs to compensate us in some way. He offered 2 deserts for 8 people. That shows that he was not too concered.
When we left, someone approached me and offered me a free drink coupon to come back again. Overall, I am not happy with the service.
