A planned modification
Jul 01, 2016 08:25 AM 7511 Views

Hey there everybody.

I have a doubt with regards to a planned modification of the motorcycle. I thought of discussing that with MS members mainly because it would give me a greater understanding. After all you guys are incredibly good when informing others. If you decide to have come to this assessment seeking advice about maintaining a new bike, I’m sorry I misinformed you!

So I bought this specific Sp+ on September 2005. Worked adequately, and works very well. Right now I gave it for offering - it’s first paid assistance. It’s completed 13, 500 km's. At the Service Centre, I asked them whether they could do anything to improve the speed. After a long discussion(they retained discouraging), they said they could improve the pickup, by compromising on distance. I told them to do not delay - do it. Now I contain the following doubts about the "pickup increase".

1) Will the electricity of the bike increase? The service-centre chap said it could be like Super Splendor. So should it be like 9 bhp?

2) Will certainly changing the pickup ruin your engine long-term?

3) Will the absolute maximum speed of the bike enhance?

4) Is it possible to create the engine back to your default settings in, let’s declare, the next service? And if you do, will this "tinkering / tweaking" bring about any side-effects?

5) Since the mileage would dropped, how low would the brand-new mileage be? Atleast 45-50 kmpl?

6) I usually use only the back-brake pertaining to braking. Now the braking by the back-brake isn’t as well as the front, which is accurate. Would it be better to switch the brake shoes? Or would it be better to venture to the welding shop and receive the shoes welded with extra metal(I does that for my friend’s moped if we didn’t get the brake shoes any place in Chennai)?

7) Since I’m increasing the electricity, is it better to find disc brakes? Or will the previous drums do?

I know nothing is really "useful" in this assessment, but others who have experienced these things with their bikes would be able to provide valuable suggestions. I am sure that is to be "Very Useful" for me.

Expecting your comments with help out with all this.
