**~~ Dirt+Usage=Needs maintenance~~**. Review on Maintaining a Digital Camera

Today in this hi-tech world, digital cameras have become very common and sometimes a necessity also for many people who just love Photography.'Developers ki toh chandi hi chandi hain'Even if the costs have been reduced, they are still expensive(Rs 8000 onwards approx.) if one has to spend its hard earned money. Since anybody buying one, won’t replace it for another 5 years, maintenance of the digital camera is very important in the best possible way. In other words: Basic life of the digital camera depends upon how you handle it or you can say maintain it.

$If Yes, So let's go through some points which may help solve the problem:$

1. Cleaning the outer body- The body nowadays of many digi cams are made up of ABS material. If you go to higher range, the body comes in metal. Periodically cleaning the outer body with the help of a soft cloth(No Liquid) is very important for retaining its original beauty& Shine.(Looks).

   
   




2. LCD Screen & lens Most of the work while clicking a photo is done by the lens and the screen. The best way to protect them is by not touching them with your fingers. Also you can buy a lens cap, and always fix it whenever the camera is out of use/order. There are many screen protectors available in the market for the mobile; you can also use that to protect the LCD screen. Never apply any kind of force on the screen/lens if not responding.

   
   




3. Batteries: Always use the correct batteries for a digital camera recommended by the dealer itself. High voltage may can affect its main IC. Also donot mix the new ones with the old ones. Keeping them in sun for long periods may cause permanent damage. When the camera is not in use, always take them out to prevent leakage.

   
   




4. Memory Card & Slot: Don’t even try to fiddle with the pins present inside the memory card slot underneath the cam. If they get damaged, great loss is ahead of you. Taking out & Putting back the card many a times, in turn damages both the things. Only buy good quality memory cards.

   
   




5. Buttons & Connecting port: While using the shoot button, turning the function dial, treat them nicely by not pressing them hardly otherwise they would stop working. The connecting port which connects your PC to the cam through a wire is essential to clean. Clean it with the help of a small brush with extra soft bristles.

   
   




6. Flash Light: Clean the flash area with a normal eraser so that proper light is emitted during a photo click otherwise you would experience dull photos.

   
   




7. Case: Buy a good quality case from the market to prevent the damage caused by falling. Look for the case which is soft from inside and having durable material from outside.
