Though the idea of making a cross country motorcycling thrills the mind beyond anything and though it had been in my mind for a few years, yet due to the reasons and circumstances I was not able to undertake one. I do intend to do it from Delhi to Bangalore. In this I prefer the route Delhi-Agra-Gwalior-Jhansi-Lakhnadon-Nagpur-Hyderabad-Bangalore. I could get this info after searching in the net about the road network. Also there is a book on this from the Eicher house now.
I need to get that one and planning to buy this weekend. Also I have a bike which I doubt will the machine be able to run such a long route. I have Bajaj Caliber Croma of 2002 make. I intend to undertake this trip with Royal Enfield motorcycle. And I expect suggestions from the community regarding the Royal Enfield bikes best selection for such a long journey as Delhi to Bangalore. Also let me know if any forum is available for discussing long motorcycle rides.
