Well going by the promos and after listening to the soundtrack......i think SOORAJ BARJATYA's much awaited and hyped film MPKDH(How's that for a title?)is going to be one big flop.I had the bad luck of spending my money on this waste of an album.ANU MALIK has hit rock bottom and with every new film,the quality of his music is going down.The lyrics and singing are also such a pain to the ears........really guys I warn you to remain away from this album and I also wish SOORAJ BARJATYA luck,coz with a musical score like this and a flop star-cast of the over-hyped KAREENA,HRITHIK and ABHISHEIK .......he certainly needs loads of it.
There are ten songs in the album.
The album opens with CHALI AAYEE.......which is probably the most enjoyable track on the album.It has a very catchy tune and for a love song it is quite different though going by the promos it looks to me more of a adventorous song.Singing by Chitra and KK is pretty ordinary but the song is quite nice.
SANJANA I LOVE YOU.......why do our lyricist have such a fascination for english words\lyrics?Does that make their song sound more hep?'neways there is nothing in this song which could have saved it,in one word this song is insipid and so is the singing by Chitra nd KK.
BANI BANI......is the title song,and one of the better numbers on this album.It has got a very traditional garba-kind of a feel to it,tune is nice and catchy......a song good for dancing.Chitra also sounds much better in this song than what she sounds in the other ones.
OH AJNABI........is in two versions,sad and happy and both are a pain to the ears......coz of the shreiky singing by CHITRA.Musically also the song is nothing great,it has got a very boring tune,atleast I did not like the song.And what is it with the picturisation of this song?Sooraj Barjatya seems to have lost his mind completely in his attempt to be different.
LADKA YE KEHTA HAI LADKI SE,is also one of the likeable track on this album,now you can very well imagine the standard of this album.When you have no better songs to listen you have to enjoy tracks like Ladka ye kehta hai.KK has done a good job singing it.
KASAM KI KASAM and AUR MOHABBAT HAI......are two of the only songs sung by SHAAN,so they might in all probability be picturised on ABHISHEIK.Both the songs are your usual romantic numbers,nothing new or great about them.Though Kasam ki Kasam which is a duet with Chitra still sounds better out of the two.
PAPA KI PARI......Well this song should be nominated for the worst song ever.What were ANU MALIK and DEV KOHLI thinking while composing and writing the song respectively?And what makes matters worse is that MISS KAREENA KAPOOR also lends her voice to this song in her typical Poo style along with Sunidhi Chauhan.Disaster.
BHATKE PANCHHI(traditional).......please don't even make an effort to listen to this song.....it is soooooo bad.CHITRA sounds awful,and the song has nothing to it.
Well this is all to the music of MPKDH.......when I had heard the album of another hyped film K3G,i thought it was a musical disaster but gradually I started liking the songs,but I see absolutely no hope for the music of this film.IN ONE WORD IT IS A-W-F-U-L.
