Almost Disappointing !. Review on Main Hoon Na - Bollywood

I had written the preview of this movie long before actaully watching it and well I had very very high expectations from it. I was expecting it to be Shahrukh’s life time best.

Now, when

I really got to watch it ...... well the excitement level was so very high.... and there I was .. the movie about to begin ..................

After the movie....More or less .. I was disappointed ... MAybe because I had very high expectations .. but then if u think rationally .. its an average film .. but yes a one time watch ......

The movie is a treat for Shahrukh Khan fans .... because the only character in the movie is RAM PRASAD SHARMA ( SRK) .. all others are not even supporting actors .. they are more like guest appearances .... Well about the chracters .... SRK is as always excellent in his performance .... Sushmita Sen is my favourite actress and I thought that wow this is the break that she never got .... but disappointment .... She dint really have anything much to do .... but she has done complete justice to her role and she looks ravishing............... Zayed Khan has still a long way to go to be in competition in the standards that Bollywood’s young actors are reaching ..... He is too naive in acting and has to learn a lot ........... Amrita Rao is fine . .though I believe she had done a much better job in Ishq Vishq .... But still she has a future instore ....................Kirron Kher and Naseeruddin Shah are awesome in there small characters .............. Suneil Shetty’s role is not at all well defined .. though he has done a decent job ............All other characters are fine in whatever little they have .......

About the movie ...... the comedy part is really nice at times but it bugs at times too ....... the emotional scenes are very well performed except for ZAyed ................. Action in the movie is highly stylized but unfortunately its overdone many a times ............... ...... THe direction is average and so is the screenplay .. but the movie is very well paced .. so it does’nt show up prominently ..... But I think Farah Khan is not that good as a director ............... overall movie handling is ordinary ...

Songs are really nice and very well picturised ..... They r a highlight to the film ... Anu Malik and Javed Akhtar have done an awesome job .............

The interesting part is that the movie is a box office hit and thus Green Chillies entertainment has earned good money ..... So finally SRK earns a good lot ...... well I know Gauri is the owner of the company in books .. but cmon guys ........... and well this makes me happy ..... all my loyalities lie with SRK ..... afterall .... he is my favourite ..........

Another good thing about the movie is the message it tries to convey. The India - Pakistan friendship. Atleast we have efforts in that direction now.

Anyways ...... Overall, a complete Masala film which contains everything that a movie can ..... but as far as film making is concerned .. an average movie ........... But if u have not seen it yet ............. watch it only if you have free time .. its certainly an at times bugging entertainment package ..........................
