What a wonderful movie!! I had gone to see the moie with no expectations at all. I had thought that it was just another high profile, high PR movie. And what a treat I got!!! It's a movie made by a movie buff for the movie buffs. To see this movie, I think you have to go with a very open mind and a big sense of humour. And if you have done your movie-homework of the 70's and 80's well, you will enjoy the flick.

I thought this was one of Shahrukh Khan's best movies ever, putting him on a new plateau of glamour and heroism. He looks dashing in the army uniform and the other outfits designed by Karan Johar look very good on him.

The movie's story line as such is weak. Infact it is unbelievable that Farah Khan could pull off a movie with such a weak story. But the way in which she has made the movie has made it extraordinary. The treatment is very good. The thrills of the movie are its biggest plus point. I think this will start a new genre of movie making.

For Farah Khan as a debut movie, I think she has done an incredible job. The special touches like the rickshaw named after Dhanno, Lakshman Prasad and Ram Prasad, the climax, the take on Matrix, it all gelled well and made great viewing. The romance between Shahrukh and Sushmita was a pleasure to watch. The fun at the college campus was a real clincher.

Boman Irani as the forgetful principal is hilarious. Satish Shah is at his ''spitful'' best. I felt Bindu as Mrs.Kakkad was wasted though I think Farah included her to complete the 70's-80's touch. The college is indeed like a dream come true, I only wish our colleges had such fun-filled campuses and looked so colourful. It reminds us of Karan Johar's campus in Kuch Kuch Hota Hai. But I thought this campus was much more better.

Coming to the starcast, I will not bore u all once again by saying how wonderful Shahrukh was. I feel this is one of his best movies in recent times. Kudos to Farah for having exploited his potential to the fullest.

Sushmita Sen in this movie is mind blowing! She is the epitome of glamour and takes the style of wearing a saree to a completely new high. Throughout the movie, she has worn sarees and I would not be surprised to very soon see '' Main Hoon Na'' sarees in the shops. She basically did not need to do much in the acting department, she had to only look ravishing and that she has done a brilliant job!

Zayeed Khan also came in as a pleasant surprise. His two looks in the film looked very good on him and when he appears for the first time with his long locks cut, we could hear the girls in the theater gushing, ''shooooo shweeeeeeeet!'' He too has done a good job and the relationship between him and Shahrukh is a pleasure to watch. It is especially hilarious to watch him call Shahrukh as ''uncle''.

Amrita Rao disappoints. Compared to the way she looks in Ishq Vishq, here, I think she looks tired and yucky. her experiemnts with two looks in the film seem to have failed. And acting? Whats that?

The songs of the film? Well, when I heard them before watching the movie, I hated them. But now after the movie, I liked them. The qawwali, especially is very good. And the romantic number between Shahrukh and Sush is lovely to watch. The song Chale Jaise Hawaaein was too loud and I felt it was neither a pleasure to hear it nor to see it.

All is all, the movie is a must see. Please do not go to the see with any expectations. Infact I would advise you to leave your thinking abilities behind at home and then watch the movie, you will love it. It is pure entertainment and total time pass (tp)!
