At last I went to mainhoon after hearing bla bla bla of the movie. It neither impressed nor unimpressed me. It's a mass masala with few chase scenes which makes you laugh through out the day after coming out of the theater also.
Few things I tell you before going in to the story....It makes you think why director farah khan has chosen suniel shetty as villain. He has nothing to do and role is unjustified in the movie. Coming to chasing scenes it's atrocious. I hope now-a-days no one will enjoy this type of chasings.....the chase is for about half an hour...sharukh chases the vehicle which is going at a rate of 150km/hour
fast and the villain in the vehicle saying that go fast ..he is coming..
It looks funny and I shouted like anything after seeing that. The final one just reminds you the WILLS advertisement of akshay kumar. Only thing which you can pay is for songs.songs are good and few are picturised well. The title song is too good.
Sushmita sen has nothing to do except few songs. She looks nice in movie with different look.
I still don't understand why this Zayed khan is getting that much of media attention. Better we can avoid him. He has no looks and he shouts other than acting in few scenes which are very gripping in movie. The conversation scenes in which sharukh and zayed and their mother are involved, those scenes are good barring zayed khan.
The story line is thin like a wrapper...naseeruddin shah who is sharukh khan's father while dying reveals that he has got one brother and mother who went away when he was too young. After telling he dies...then the rest is how sharukh meets his brother and mother.he joins in college where his brother is studying. In the mean while sharukh who is an army officer got other duty of protecting his higher authority officer's daughter who is studying in the same college...In the same college sushmita is the chemistry lecturer...nothing to do with chemistry...just it is her tag. Mean while suniel shetty is a villian and we can laugh at his makeup and we can forget that role...might be farah khan thought that there should be villain in the movie and so she kept...no justification for his role.. after so much of drama finally the film ends.
Direction is okay not much to talk about his debut. Nothing extaordinary.
Sharukh is routine like in the other movies..nothing new to him. Zayed is bekaar...
Zayed's heroine is goo at looks.Forgettable movie for Suniel shetty. Photography is okay.
If you are music lovers go, otherwise we can avoid.
