Hyped and Exaggerated . Review on Main Hoon Na - Bollywood

To start with I would say the movie should be named ''Project Milap'' instead of Main Hoon Naa. The movie is based on ''Project Milap''-- the mission where Indian army head (Kabeer Bedi) decides to release 50 Pakistan soldier, thereby initiating a hand of friendship towards Pakistan. But this is opposed by a soldier turn militant called Raghavan(Sunil Shetty).

The start is action packed, Shahrukh Khan is a major and is deployed with the security of Kabir Bedi who is appearing for a TV interview, Naseerudin Shah (father of SRK) is the Chief for the security arranegement. Enters Sunil Shetty with his team of Macho soldiers and its gun-gun-gun, which leads to Naseer getting killed. At the dying moments he tells SRK a long hidden truth that he is not his only son and that he had an extra-marital affair ( just like masoom) and SRK has a brother and Mother. Naseer wants them to be united.

And from here the story gets flip-flop, SRK from Major turns to a college students and enters Darjeeling (where is also acts as a secret agent trying to protect Amrita roy, daughter of Kabir Bedi). He is teased in the collge premises by fellow students. His brother happens to be in the same college (now would you call that a conincident). SRK and Zayed are shown in some hillarious tussle.

The college comprises of a funny bone prinicpal (Boman Irani of Munnabhai MBBS)who forgets everything, then there is Satish Shah who likes to spit saliva on everybody that he talks to. Theres one scene which is reminiscent of Matrix, where Satish Shah splits saliva and SRK protects himself as if it is a bullet.

The Action is a mixture of T-3, matrix, MI 2 , Commando and all Hollywood action flick. SRK acts if he is James Bond. and then he gets bamboozled at the sight of a beautiful lady -- enter Shushmita Sen who is a Chemistry Teacher (everyone would attend chemistry lecture then and would also take tuitions from her). She doesn't has much to do apart from 2 songs and blowing her hair.

The Climax is very mediocre, Sunil Shetty says could have killed SRK with a single bullet but he says you have 5 more minutes, lets have some fight. And they fight for 5 minutes with action flick copied from John Woos ''The One''. The action of the movie is based on the principle that for every action theres a slow and very slow reaction. Believe it.... See it to Believe it.
