Many years back Ajay Devgun graced our Indian Hindi film Industry, the first film he did was called Flower and Stone or Flower and thons, I dont remember exactly that was a long time back.

I thought a wise father Veeru Devgun took the opportunity to launch his son in the spot being vacated by super star Mithun Chakroborty, but till today nobody could command the love and respect of people like Mithun did, Mithunda was huge in his following and stature, he was very unconventional super star of India, he was an icon to too many youngsters those days, I saw in my college many guys copying the walk , the talk, the hair, the body of mithunda. Nobody will ever reach the heights of Mithunda in our Industry.

Ajay Devgun never posed or made it look obvious that he is aiming to take the spot of Mithun, a freshness about Ajay Devgun since the beginning of his acting days is he maintained a image of himself, he created a following for himself not a copy of others, he is one of the people who is a hardworking down to earth resident of tinsel town.

Ajay Devgun's is successful from his first film, the first film had this patent dialog repeated many times in the film, MEIN AISA HI HOON, I remember liking this dialog delivered by Ajay Devgun, it looks original from his mouth. This dialog he repeated again and again in many of his later films, even in pyar to hona hi tha a very good film, it is Ajay Devgun's trademark.

Harry Baweja permanently attached this dialog with Ajay Devgun by making a film titled MEIN AISA HI HOON, this story is clean and light, it is bit experimental in the sense Ajay Devgun is made to act the role of a mentally challenged person, he has his spot reserved he has his fan following and he has success to his name, so he is allowed this luxury.

The fan's of Ajay Devgun do not copy his hair style or his clothes or his manners because of this dialog MEIN AISA HI HOON, everyone of his fan says I am just like this. So in a sense this is a liberating dialog for all the fans of this world. You do not have to copy anyone, be as you are, you are cool as you are, no need to copy your star to look acceptable.

There is Esha Deol in this film struggling with drug habit, she is also struggling in the industry, I think all movie goers should demand marriage of Esha Deol and Abhishek Bacchan, maybe this coming togather of 2 beautiful people will change the luck for both of them. There is another advantage from this marriage, Veeru and Jai will become permanent relatives.

If you ask me Esha Deol is far more beautiful than Karishma Kapoor she will make a better wife to Abhishek than any other woman in the world, look at the crying she did in this film. She looked good also crying. Okay why you getting angry, this is a review about MEIN AISA HI HOON, so I have every right to do the way I like. MEIN AISA HI HOON.

There is Sushmita Sen in the movie, Anupam Kher the versatile actor of our Industry is in the role of a rich father, the story is not so hot, it was a hastily written story. Even dialogs are a little superficial, the music by Reshmiya are what you call not so memorable.

There is on display the acting talents of Ajay Devgun in this film, we have some flashbacks too in the film so there are many moods he displayed in this film, he was simply very good. The story writers should have included other incentives to improve the story and the content.

There is daughter Rucha who loves her father Ajay Devgun, there is a courtroom drama and a little different ending to the film, I can easily say if you like Ajay Devgun then you must see this movie, it is a must see for Ajay. After all He is a real life hero, he made Kajol a very successful rich Indian girl his own and keeping her in the house, making her cook food. That is a big achievement too.

This film was actually made to showcase the acting talent of Ajay and different role playing capacity of Esha Deol in this venture this film is very successful, these type of experiments do happen in bollywood, remember SADMA the show piece for Sri Devi to the bombay film makers. I will shorten my review and would like to end this review with best wishes and great hopes of marriage of Esha Deol and Abhishek Bacchan, who knows sunny deol will make a successful film with both of them, Sunny Deol is a very talented producer. They are a couple made for each other.
