Although I don't own a Xylo, but I am experiencing Xylo for last 4 years. actually my in-laws have a Xylo E8 bought just before our marriage. being a Mahindra car, I always trusted Xylo as a reliable car and till now it kept my trust. i've gone on long trips on Xylo with my in-laws. What I find now is this car gives same performance as it gave 4 years back even as my in-laws don't maintain it religiously as they also have other SUVs and don't care much of a particular car.
The riding quality is very good with comfortable seats, good AC n cooling on all rows. 2 years back the roads were bad (now roads r mostly smooth) and Xylo never gave us a feeling of the bad roads and whenever it is on highways (mostly NH2 or G T road), it feels like u are in an aeroplane. if all 8 people are in, you will not feel the body roll that many people complains about Xylo. Pickup is awesome even though it is a heavy car and once you are on highways, don't expect anybody would be able to overtake you (unless u are a scary driver).
Although I never measured mileage (no need of it), my in-laws told me that Xylo's mileage is the best among their cars. you will find mechanic everywhere if the problem is not so serious and spare parts are not so costly compared to other SUVs in this class. Overall Xylo is the the most competent SUV in Indian road giving such comfort within this price.
