I just wish that this car had a little better looks like the creta or duster. The mileage and the comfort is really good but I think that all TATA cars should get a proper modern facelift. They should fire the current whole of design team and hire youth like me.
The car developed blisters of rust on non driver side door frame. First it was on 2nd row and then below the front door hinges. First corrosion was noticed in its 2nd year and second corrosion in the subsequent year. But both the time Mahindra rectified the fault at their expenses. They took responsibility and for the first time I experienced that they care for customer's genuine complaints. The transmission gave me a torrid time when one day I heard cluttering noise from it. It was severe in 3rd gear but less in other. To my surprise I found that TWO teeth of 3rd gear were broken. Apart from these problems the vehicle is very good to drive.
The huge interior space offered by the Xylo H8, which can offer lavish seating space for about 8 people. There are lot many consisting of ground clearance, turn radius, aircon on all four rows, follow me home headlamps, sturdy on the highway, leg rest beside clutch, key attendance alarm, reliable bosch parts under the hood and auto lock doors even if manual opened on idling will lock again on moving.
Mahindra has yet again delivered a car that can withstand the fury of the Indian car market and tough Indian roads. To be frank this car offers way too much compared to the price which I have not been able to figure out how, I think it’s a company secret! But as in previous Mahindra Grand Armada this car has acceleration issues, its late to react on acceleration and lack power when gaining speed and momentum in higher gears.
