Before I start, I would like to tell that my review is not based on other reviews but I do own this vehicle and driven it approx 12000 KMs in last 6 months.
I had budget of 20L and wanted to buy a 7 seater and the options were TATA Safari Storme, Toyota Innova Crysta, Mahindra XUV5OO and Used Toyota Fortuner.
Considering the features and rich feel XUV5OO offers, it was winner. Though some of the things can only be noticed after owning the vehicle for long time.
I am putting up advantages and disadvantages of XUV5OO W10
Things I like
Look & Feel
Space on 1st and 2nd Row is massive
Cabin feels light and airy
Engine is good and has enough punch on highways
Cruise Control and Electric seats are boon on highway drive
I get 11-12 KMPL in city and 15-16 on Highways and it's best in segment.
Handling is amazing in segment.
Amazing customer support by Mahindra
6 Airbags, ESP, ABS, EBD<, Hill Hold, Hill Descent
Ecosense, DIS
Area if improvement
Music system can be better
Rigid suspension and bumpy ride
Front fender is not metal:(
Not as sturdy as competitors.
Overall, I am happy with vehicle and would recommend to own it. Now days we have TATA HEXA, so you can try that as well.
