Mahindra Verito Vibe is the most under-rated hatchback in my view. As an Indian customer what we want from a hatchback, Verito have all those. Space, mileage, comfort, good suspension for Indian Special roads, control for overtaking trucks in highways. Verito Vibe has all these. my entire family of 5 went to test drive the verito vibe very next day of its launch.
I find the rear of this car resembling to an SUV. Front looks more or less like new Verito, it does look like a sedan from front. it has road presence even being a hatchback. Interior is simple and not very sophisticated. the dash board is less cluttered and not too many buttons, knobs, screens etc on it. Space inside is great, best in class, no doubt about that. When you sit on the driving seat or as passenger, you will feel as you are sitting in a Sedan. Comfort in the back seat is great, lot of legroom and 3 people can comfortably sit.
I have done 15000+ km and engine performance is as expected. Turbo lag is negligible. Gear shift is smooth. clutch sometimes vibrate and make noise.
Riding experience and control is very good on my verito vibe. when I clock 100 km/h while on NH2( G.T Road), neither me or others sitting inside feel that car is cruising at 100 km speed. Car seems very heavy and hence car felt very stable on road. I would rate ride quality very premium with this car. It infuses a lot of confidence while driving.
Suspension is appropriate for Indian roads. on rough roads it goes with ease and very less bumpy feel inside and that shows that suspensions are good and heavy body of car does not re-bounce much to give jerks to the passengers. only matter of concern is the turning radius as in city you will be uncomfortable turning it in congested places.
The only thing I did not like is, no offer of any extra goodies and discount either from manufacturer or dealer on this car. But after searching on internet for reviews on Vibe like https://goo.gl/kB0c7N I got confidence to go for it and I must say I took right decision. I dont know why Mahindra is not aggressive to push sales of this awesome car. it is a sedan in a hatchback's skin.:)
