I ve not driven it and this is purely an outlook over the styling and stance of the vehicle.
from exterior 3/4 quarte looks nice, but once you move either side it looks quite mixn match, some angles it looks like bolero(which is not a good thing for a premium SUV), form side it looks to slab sided and tall, with overall mass to wheel ratio make it look ungainly. rear side looks like a mix of parts from various other mahindras. panel gaps are too large and uneven . overall design looks a bit dated. the designers at mahindra need to look at maruti GV or landrover Evoque, for boxy design iteration, and please mahindra get the proportions right, that is the basic, even your initial sketches and renderings look ungainly. or you want to keep your farm vehicle heritage.
The other day I drove it, and It was as I expected, It ticks all the boxes at fairly acceptable level for most men, but nothing more can be said about the handling and drivability. mechanically it seemed tough, but still had that agricultural feel about it, gear change was rudimentary, it lurches on hard cornering, has a floaty feel over potted roads, however brakes were ok with ABS. Ergonomically, handicapped as always with mahindra, make you feel that you get a front corner seat in the cinema hall. Mahindra has been at it for more than a decade at SUV game, they need to realize the end game, success will be counted when you make a great vehicle, not just average runabouts.
