The Mahindra Scorpio is perhabs the most popular SUV in India. Launched first in 2003, the Scorpio is also one of the best selling SUVs in the country. Currently in its third generation avatar, the Scorpio is now better than ever before with a whole load of improvements done on interior, exterior and of course, the drive train and suspension setups. The new Scorpio is priced between Rs 8.5-13.5 lakhs and is highly popular around the country due to its butch looks and fuel mileage.
The facelifted Scorpio gets a revised front and rear end but retains the same overall design. This is likely to be in a bid to remain faithful to existing customers and fans of the SUV. On the outside, the new Scorpio gets projector headlamps, a new chrome grille, fog lamps and redesigned alloy wheels. The top-end S10 variant also gets projector headlamps with DRLs, new bumpers with fog lamps, a chrome grille and LED tail lamps. Although the new Scorpio originally came with a black panel on the door that was common across all models, Mahindra did listen to their customers and critics and changed this to a body colored variant instead.
