Finally I purchased the mighty muscular Scorpio on the day of Diwali.. from MPL motors..and drove around 1100 Kms initially in the city of Chennai..and then went on the drive which I always thought of i.e, from Chennai to Bhopal via Vijayawada.. Hyderabad.. Nagpur..that is a total of 1604 kms..and only with a one night stay at Hyderabad.. best part was I drove it alone the entire stretch and on 2nd day covered a distance of approx 900 Kms from Hyd to Bhopal via Nagpur..I was accompanied by my wife and daughter they really enjoyed the entire trip..as the weather was amazing and the Scorpio was just incredible..
Really a mighty vehicle.. with top speed of 160 kms.. and great mileage of 13.5+ on an average for the entire trip.. I strongly recommend the vehicle.. and its a pure myth that its difficult to drive Suv's in city etc.. it much simpler as you command the road.. have very good visibility and important part is no one dares to come near to you..
The cruise control with reset coast is one of the best feature of the Scorpio Vlx mainly for Highway drives..the Tyretronics is too good and I filled the tyres with Nitrogen as recommended by service centre at Bhopal.. I came back on 2 Jan from Bhopal Via Bangalore and till date no need to check the tyre pressures as N2 holds very well.. buy Scorpio and enjoy..
