Sept 27, 2016 : Mahindra introduced its Scorpio SUV with Intelli-Hybrid technology for the Delhi/NCR market. Mated to a 1.99-litre mHAWK diesel motor, Mahindra claims that the hybrid technology helps reduce fuel consumption by up to 7 per cent. Another incentive of carrying hybrid technology comes in the form of a concessional VAT ( value added tax) of 5 per cent for customers in Delhi/NCR. This concession translates to savings of Rs 60, 000 to Rs 90, 000, depending on the variant purchased
