I was part of Mahindra Satyam for last 7 years and I quit weeks back after getting suffocated in this company. I joined Satyam and when R.Raju was CEO, the company was good, even though some accounting fraud was done. All said, R.Raju was never a person who thought of cheating employees at any point of time in his life. During Satyam period there were very good trainings by eminent trainers and then Management never compromised on employee satisfaction. But after Mahindra group took over the loyal workers were kicked out systematically and Anand Mahindra did this to remove any R.Raju DNA left in the company. Under Mahindra management, the company has become very stingy which is OK but they are literally milking people's blood and sweat and making huge money.
Top Management is also made up of incompetent people, recently I heard that Tech Mahindra is borrowing money from Mahindra Satyam for it's survival. Whereas Mahindra Satyam employees have to sweat it out for poorly managed Tech Mahindra. It will be matter of time that whole talent in Mahindra Satyam will vanish and this company will be a big failure. Annual appraisal letters were supposed to be dispatched by July2012, management is doing cheap publicity since July2012 that 8percent hike has been decided, but so far none of the employees have received any letters. Middle management and Project Managers are suffering from motivation to work as their voice is seldom heard forget about respect ! As a manager of about 30 team which is yielding at 90 percent from a big multinational, but they are not responding to any suggestions from team. HR is totally headless and at many road-shows, even HR is poking fun on top management. Mahindra Satyam has been merged with tech mahindra so that cash generated by Satyam brand is systematically siphoned by Mahindra group.
I hope Govt. of India and HDFC cheif who facilitated Mahindra group purchase of Satyam realizes that indeed Mahindra's interest was only to milk Satyam and it's brand value. Govt. should be careful about such corporates who are into sheer profiteering ! Mahindra has failed to address issues of such large IT organization and is not fit to run huge set of qualified professionals. But may be Mahindra is good at making tractors and cheat millions of farmers.
Shame on You Anand Mahindra, Your Rise campaign is ironically colored red and you really mean it you are blood & sweat sucker !!
I urge readers to avoid this bloody company at any cost !!!!
