I have spent 7 years at  Applied Material account @ ITPL and I had to say bye last month owing to poor managers. In earlier times, the leadership were matured and used to take decisions as per logic based on company requirement and client requirements(Mr.Narayan Tosur and Jose were very good) .


But now the account is going to dogs, many managers of Applied Materials are not even liking eye-to-eye contact with current manager, these managers are actually fit to look after masonry works by shouting at them. The top manager is doing micromanagement of associates coming late to office, but he does not know these engineers go late and actually end up staying more than regular hours. They lack manners, courtesy and mutual rRajeev_Vermact, they treat associates like their slaves.( I meant no disrRajeev_Vermact to masons, probably an average mason is way better than the managers at MSAT Applied a/c).


The result is clear  TCS is able to add many people with good & communicating managers, TCS also opened up Varian center in TCS building and Mahindra Satyam has no clue about this, b'cos managers are busy looking at in-time of associates and other micro managements like monitoring break times of targeted associates etc etc. If managers like Narayan Tosur & Jose were here then many parallel accounts would have opened up. I am not sure the situation now, I guess Applied is also going with HCL associates. This is a shame to MSAT account as it has failed to grow. No Applied Manager is confident about Msat as these managers put in-experienced people to show higher margin. TCS and HCL are feasting on poor leaders of MSAT.


The language based discrimination is very prominent &  with people from certain geography dominating over others. Shift allowance is given only to Managers friends and bucket holders even if they don't come in shift which is illegal as per company policy, so manager can GIFT his friends up to Rs.5000 per month as shift allowance.


Mahindra Satyam actually is doing well with many measures and with RISE campaign, but managers at Applied ITPL have no clue of what RISE is they know it as Rice and Sambhar only. It's surprising how such managers can take up such beautiful accounts and spoil it.


I hope Karthi will look into it and make amendments, bring back some good old people into fold and let the account run for another 10+ years .


Please avoid joining Applied Material account of Mahindra Satyam at ITPL Bangalore, as it is led by unprofessional masons and not managers.


I have joined TCS and I feel in the lap of safety and the pay packs are also decent, all mahindra satyam if they join TCS will get guaranteed 30 percent or more hike, this is how Mahindra Satyam is mintting money from innocent illiterate msat associates
