Poor mileage is making me mad & sad. Review on Mahindra Rodeo RZ

Latest based on advice from mahndra 2 wheelers team and others I have started testing again, and I got a good 40km/ltr avg, I will keep testing for few more weeks and will update you all.

Very happy to buy this ...specially the showroom ppl decorated it with flowers, seemed like its my marriage.

As soon as I came on road ppl started gazing.... They were anxious to know. Even many asked about the price on road. I was very happy.

The acceleration was awesome, little throttle and it zipped ahead of others. I was surprised.

Few days it took me to adjust to that accelaration. Then I became habitual.

Now starts the trouble.

2nd day : I checked the rodeo and it was puncture, I said how can a new bike get puntured, I dragged to a shop, he checked and no sign of puncture and n nails or pins. Finally the tube was faulty ........

Oh man....how can this be .... 200 RS ka FATKA lag gaya.... :(

When I took that to service center on 1st service they said that sorry we dont replace this.

So guy no tubes tyres gonna be replaced if its put faulty from company itself.

3rd day and ahead:-

Good points noticed by me:

Flashy exterior ; very smart look, nice leg space; good space beneath seat, nice indicators,

Bad points :- head lamp very small, I cant even see raod properly, low ground clearance so always get stuck on speed breakers, and it gives a bad sound as well when it strikes, so keep 10 km/hr at breakers.

The worst part comes here:

The mileage: 30 km/l never gone past that. You wont believe two services already over. And still the average is 30km/hr. Now see what service ceter people said:-

1 st service: "sir this will get fixed with time and by 2nd service you will get 40 + " I said :- "Okay lets c"

2nd service:- before 2nd service the special engineer comes to inspect when I complained of low mileage, still no benefit, the bike was tuned tested and gave good mileage when petrol was fed direct to carburetor and not from tank. (this is special test) but again when I started using same result.

2nd service over and I m still getting 30km/ltr. This time the engineer said please try different petrol pumps and seee. Ah nice excuse ...but I tried that too. I used 65 Rs/ltr Shell petrol . U wont get any thing costly than this. Still 30 , now what to say :(

Rodeo is best in performance but low in mileage.

Guys would say you to buy rodeo if u have lot of money, else its very costly deal.
