Its sad that mahindra which wants to enter lucrative 2 -wheeler mkt starts with such a dud.it gives all the more reason for us to praise honda & HH.They have the pulse on customers need & I bet they do proper research before launching a product.Rodeo is a super fast scooter but of what use when oil prices are expected to sky rocket soon!

I bought this scooterette last dec and have regretted ever since.i am a marketing guy and wanted to buy this for father who has much less use than mine & would have been useful for occasional trip for ladies.but its such a guzzler that pop even doesn't wants this indian hummer.Morever I can't blow big bucks on riding such high cost bike/km.so I am planning to sell this bike after only 6-7 months use.

this scooter started giving problem from start.as we never exceeded 40km/hr for 1st 1000km we didnt knew about any problem.it gave hardly 25km/l & showroom guys told it will rise to 40 after 1st servicing.after 1st servicing mileage increased to 34km/l but started to lose acceleration beyond 40-45km/hr.Showroom guys were totally at sea though their mechanic insisted he has been trained in HQ.after atleast 4-5 visits with everything tried and tested we complained to company through website.they swiftly sent some guy and he was able to fix that problem thanksfully free of cost.but mileage problem is still there while I had expected atleast 40km/l as this is a 125cc.i didnt know a difference of 25 cc can lower so much mileage.

when I enquired with other company's scooterette performance I came to know at best pleasure from HH gives 50km/l and that too when rode under 40km/hr.activa gives less than that but much more than rodeo.my question to 2-wheeler manufacturers is that when 100cc bikes gives mileage of 65-70km/l(bajaj discover) and many other bikes then why a scooterette from same co gives such low mileage.i bet this is due to inferior engines used for bigger profit as scooterette mkt is less competitive than 100cc bike category.most of the parts used are made of plastic even the accelerator wire is locked in a plastic framed hook in accelerator throttle.my nephew while playing with accelerator twisted it hard and the plastic hook broke inside for which I had to change the full throttle handle.

so its not a surprise that all 2-wheelers are making awesome profit for their shareholders at the cost of customer.

so in short I request you to avoid scooterette altogether if you can especially if you dont hv woman riders and go for a bajaj discover which I hope to buy as soon as I am able to sell this piece of junk.

as to performance it is really good.it goes amazingly fast but after such a great run do go to petrol pump coz by then mileage would hv dropped to 25km/l.what I gathered from duro riders is that they are facing same problem and all bought them due to strike in HH & honda when scooterettes were in short supply and only one available was mahindra's or TVS.so go ahead and buy this if you father is a oil tycoon.
