This is another scenario where I am facing the problem currently with Mahindra Service Centre - Majestic Motors. This is in continuation to the problems I faced initially, in the initial service days

After the Initial problems I had with Surya Wheels, I had found a better service Centre Durga Kinetic, where at least customer problems were heard and solved, but with little pricey attitude, by the Service Centre people.


After Mahindra overtook Kinetic, after few months, Durga Kinetic has closed their sales and service and Mahindra Website listed the authorized sales and service centre as "Majestic Motors" which was near to Durga Kinetic, in Narayanguda, Hyderabad. The struggle again starts, the staff has shifted to Majestic Motors, and I had to shift to Authorized service Centre - Majestic Motors, and they had given few services. Around 15k km there was a clutch problem, and Majestic Motors did not have spares for it, and had no option in the city, and went to Surya wheels, for clutch replacement, which they have done it.


To get the regular service done, I have gone for the 9th paid service to Majestic Motors on 5 August at around 20500 km. This time also they have done the service, stating We have changed the Bushes and there is a clutch problem again! They don’t have spares, asked me to visit again after a week time.


Finally on 17/08/2010, they asked me to come for replacement, and gave an estimate bill of Rs.300/- with Job card No. 1710. **At the end of the day, they started saying, today it is not possible, it will be done next day, as there is some work left out, they are suspecting engine problem as there is a sound coming from engine. I called up and spoke to the supervisor Abdul, where he assured that it is not a big problem, will be solved end of day. The day later I called up Majestic Motors, this time Abdul gave the phone to the service technician, and he started saying, it will cost you around 5k.


Fed up with their indifferent on 18/08/2010, I visited them personally taking a half day leave from job, to know the status, they started saying, it is the engine which has the problem, it will take 2 days to look at it. Every day I call up them to know the status, and I get a response, tomorrow we will look on it, and every time, they say a new price. On 20/08/2010, they again say they may look at it tomorrow for their good reasons.


On 21/08/2010, I waited for their call and they never called up. Fed up with their attitude, I decided to visit personally, and at around 4 pm, I went to the Owner of the service centre, where he took me to Abdul, the supervisor there, and he stated that "Mahindra is not going to give Service to Kinetic Flyte Customers, since it is not Mahindra Flyte and he has to bare the expenses personally".


I clearly asked the owner / representative the service manual, and the warranty rules mentioned there as 3 years or 30k km whichever is earlier, he was convinced enough stated you will get the service warranty, as mentioned as there is a regular service done, and left it for our discussion to finalize the time of delivery.


But the Supervisor re-iterated his words, that he cannot give, "as he has to purchase it on his personal behalf, so I will be charged a good amount of 8k approx even, and the bike is not a worth as it isKinetic Flyte, andMahindradoesn’t care it" without knowing the actual reason for the problem, not even giving a look at it.


Again I had to approach the owner / representative of the showroom, where Abdul, behaved in the same way. It looked me sadistic, and fishy, as his behavior was triggering me pain and doubt. Fed up with Abdul’s behavior, I had approached Mr. Mohan, Ex. Field Engineer, Hyderabad, where he asked me to explain my problem to Mr. Ahmed, 9949478678, who is working in his place, so that he can help me.


Mr. Ahmed, heard my problem, and spoke to the authorized service centre, and assured me that it will be done by End of Monday, i.e. August 23, 2010, and Mahindra will take care of it.


Immediately after 5 min, I got a call at 21/08/2010, 5:31 pm from Majestic Motors, Service personnel, named Shiva, and he assured me that the problem will be resolved by end of Monday, and he will tell me the estimation only after opening the engine, and will tell me what will be covered in warranty and what will not come under warranty, and will resolve it.


It has become almost 9 days [from 17/08/2010 to 25/08/2010] that my vehicle is in the service centre, and no one is good enough to respond. There are different voices and opinions between the Service Personnel, the supervisors and the Management and Customer is given a big pain, playing with their Emotions, time, and Money in the process.


I really doubt now, since 1 week they have kept my vehicle, just for silly reasons well known to them, without CLARITY and TRANSPARENCY, piling up reasons every now and then. I have no option than to keep fingers crossed.


The vehicle was in proper condition when it was taken. Will I get my vehicle in proper condition?


IS THERE ANYONE WHO CAN REALLY HELP THE CUSTOMER, OR PUT HIM IN A SOUP AGAIN! AND ENJOY CUSTOMERS PAIN. PEOPLE ARE PLAYING WITH CUSTOMERS.


The vehicle has 36 months warranty from date of sale / running 30k kms, whichever is earlier. It has completed 21k kms, 27 months of warranty.
