As Mr. aet109 suggested: "Go for this vehicle if you are planning to buy hatchbacks,

Ford Ikon, Maruti Esteem, Hyundai Accent etc." Here I would like to present an analytical review of the suggested sedan, which is Logan in this case:

The boot space is too good (if you want to use it as a taxi, then go for it!), looks are awful (again, looks like a taxi!), Logan feels like a left hand driven car which has steering on the right! the controls are all over the place and like somebody said, NOT RECOMMENDED IF YOUR WIFE WILL DRIVE IT AROUND

Engine** – In terms of engine power, I would give Mahindra Logan zero marks since it an under power

car with its 1.6L, 84HP@5500 rpm and 4 cyl and only 8 valves. Will any sensible person even consider spending an exorbitant amount of Rs. 568, 789 for such a weak engine? As a matter of fact, even Wagons like Wagon R are equipped with 16 Valve engine.

It seems like a joke that Logan comes with just 8 valves in Logan and 84HP for a Sedan! No wonder riding Logan would be an experience akin to riding a Bullock Cart! **What a funny joke that one

spends around Rs. 6 lakh to get first-hand experience of riding a bullock cart in the guise of Sedan!!*

Style and Design – As it goes, a Sedan is expected to be a high-powered vehicle with sporty look and performance. In this field too Logan scores zero marks considering the fact that it has a body that is raw and designed like an Iron box. There is no style and it has such a flat in the face look.

Surely this is one Sedan that will make no head turns as it hits the roads!!

Wheels – Did I read correctly someone mentioning that Logan’s wheels designed like those of Feista and Skoda? It is sheer wild imagination to compare Logan’s wheel design with Ford or Skoda. Any one with some knowledge of motor machines will have a bug laugh at such a wild comparison! **If

Logan can be compared with any vehicle in terms of wheel design then it wouldmbe TATA Indica as both have the same wheels. Logan has the look that is suitable for the Indian marriage ceremonies where it can take the place in lieu of the decorated horse carriage that carried the band playing for the

bridegroom!*

Top SpeedThe top speed touched by Logan is a laughable 155-160 kmph. This is indeed derisive that a Sedan can touch only this speed!! In fact, ** I have proof of Hyundai Santro

going @ 165 kmph and my personal Hyundai Accent touching 185 kmph, and that too on CNG. *Yes, 185 kmph on CNG! In case you find it hard todigest, I can knock you out of your senses when I show you the video clips showing my Accent running at 185+ kmph on CNG. In fact, once I even blasted

it off at 200+ kmph on petrol but unfortunately I don’t have video for it and the needle of speedo was touching needle stopper.

Since Hyundai Accent does not have speed dial beyond 200 kmph so I can’t tell you how further it touched beyond the limit.*No wonder Accent is a BEAST, A real winner, a power play on roads even when it is on CNG!Logan, as recommended by you can touch top speed of just 155-160 kmph. No wonder, I could not help laughing my heart out since the fourth gear of my car can touch 160

kmph with total ease and in the fifth gear, my Accent vroomed at 200+ kmph.

I don't have proof for 200+ kmph but yes I can oblige you with the video clip for

my Accent zooming past at 185 kmph on CNG installed. I am sure the clip will stun you and make you consider your recommendation for Logan! **If my car can

touch 185 kmph on CNG then think how it will zoom off and how much it can touch on petrol.*

Brakes – *Should I laugh or cry now? Imagine Logan offers front disc

brakes!!* The braking system rightly deserves zero marks as it don’t even

have ABS - anti-locking braking system.to be Cont.... Want to read more about it? click the below link and read this full review at:https://geocities.com/logan_a_bullock_cart/
