All the big boys with a 5 lacs budget can now rejoice. They have a car which matches all their expectations of comforts and ease of driving within their budget.

This here is a car that gives you almost the same comforts of a Honda City at much lower price. Add to that a power steering and gear shift soft as butter, a very steady ride with firm road grip and shocks and bumps well absorbed you have a great vehicle to look forward to.

The large size may seem a bit bulgy at first site but very soon on second thoughts when you see it in the parking lot the looks make you feel proud of a decision well made.

But all those with extra adernaline in their veins please stay away...this one gives you a reasonable torque but may not thrust you to a Rally Trophie. But the performance is satisfactory.

Anyways in Most Metros today especially Mumbai , with bumper-to-bumper traffic you have barely a few moments to ever try the overdrive in you daily ride, and how many times do you hit the expressway anyway?

In any case even if you do (expressway), you have a huge boot to carry your world. Looks like Mahindra is planning to steal the premise of the large car a affordable price right from under the TATA's nose.

A little irritant is the very silly placing of buttons. The rear window roll up buttons are on the floor ! behind the handbrake....so either you tell the driver all the time or bend it like bekham. Similarly all the light/wiper buttons are ulta sulta for the Maruti guys, SKODA users (the unlikely buyer) and FIAT users ( the exremely sparse group) are the only ones who will find it in place. Mahindra proudly maintains that this is on the European standards...so much for every manufacturers tall claim of customizing imported technology to Indian conditions.

I hope their dealers are more user friendly than their buttons/switches even as they claim pick-up & drop facility for the free services.

Cant say much about this and  the consumption yet because I just bought this one a few days back and I promise to edit this review in a few months.

But for the moment I love this car.
