We had asked for a brand new latest MAHINDRA GUSTO.
The following is what we got on 2nd Feb 2016 :
Vehicle manufactured in November 2014.
Seat height adjuster missing.
Incorrect light connections.
Wire cut near front Tyre.
OIL leakage.
PETROL leakage.
ENGINE over-heating.
Handle lock issue.
Handle jam during driving of vehicle.
Old Tyre.
Noise in front panel.
GUSTO with NO MAHINDRA LOGO.
Faulty mirrors.
No instruction sticker below the handle.
Matt black color FAINT.
Old buttons with no indication labels on it.
Old side stand.
The hook cover below the seat not fitted.
Tool kit missing.
First-aid kit missing.
Old silencer with fade color and lots of stains.
No PDI done.
Mahindra two wheelers people will not help you at all.
Nor replace youe vehicle.
When asked for replacement they will teach you the law in the manual saying " manual states the vehicle will be repaired not replaced ".
BUT, I guess they have not gone through the complete manual where it states :
Mahindra Two Wheelers gives the following warranty in respect of all new Mahindra Gusto manufactured at their works.
The vehicle is sold after Pre-delivery inspection.
The vehicle is sold only after no DEFECTS are found during the PDI.
NO PDI DONE FOR MY VEHICLE, NO NEW VEHICLE SOLD TO ME !
We are thinking to file a case in consumer court again this to get justice!
