I think by this time we all agree that Bolero pretty much sucks in the city. It's got too small an engine to lug around 1.5 ton of its weight. It's Power/Weight ratio is smaller than MUL's 800. The engine begs for mercy if you try to push it. The whole body shudders if you punch the accelerator pedal.

Interior feel is quite cheesy and cheap looking plastic is used liberally to cut down the cost. Leg room is not good for tall people in the rear. AC is good but it noisy though.

Roll-stabiliztion bars are not stiff so it would exhibit body roll while cornering. Steering feel is numb, there is no feedback to the driver.

Most people would never take their Bolero on off the beaten rough path where Bolero is supposed to shine or so would Mahindra want you to believe it. The truth is Balero is no ''beast'' or ''tiger'' as some misinformed owners have come to believe. These owners would count going on local dirt road as ''off-road expedition'' and they would rave about ''ruggedness'' of Bolero. 7 inches of ground clearance is really small and Bolero easily gets high centered in the ruts.

In fact most 4X4 owners don't even know they need to decrease the tire pressure to nearly half before going to wild. Decreasing the pressure gives more traction as it increases the tire print on the ground and it also reduces the stress on suspension and axle components. They need to carry portable air-compressor with them so that when they are back on highway they would be able to inflate the tire to correct pressure.

As far as styling is concerned, it has 5 vertical slots in the front grill, while copying Jeep's design Mahindra forgot Jeep has actually 7 vertical slots in the front grill!
