Dear Sir

The launching of the Bolero was no feat of engineering but merely an act of compulsion for the Mahindras. The Armada with it's shoddy workmanship, dated looks and oh so boring rounded bonnet reminiscent of the Gaz jeep used by the Soviet Army is WW-II was fast losing ground to the Sumo. A few more months and it would have been wiped out.

But alas, Mahindras resorted to cosmetic changes only and stuck to the noisy, inefficient fuel guzzling agro engine doing duty for the last so many years in Mahindra vehicles. What the Bolero desperately needs is a wholly new 3.L turbo diesel and total reengineering so far as the body work is concerned. The rgonomics inside the cabin also need to be changed with at least the stereo brought up by at least one feet. Much more can be said but suffice it to say that the Bolero has attempted to compete with the fillies but remmains a workhorse.
