Mahesh Lunch Home known for its heavenly seafood was started by Mr. S.C.Karkera in 1977.

Till date, its popularity has grown in leaps & bounds and the result – Mahesh Lunch Home has expanded to four restaurants in Maharashtra – Fort, Juhu, Thane & Pune. Being first and original Manglorean seafood restaurant in Mumbai, it is famed for its crabs, prawn gassi and black promfret curries. Established in 1977 the restaurant has completed its Silver Jubliee i.e 25 years of serving its guest.

The restaurant was started by Mr. S.C. Karkera.

The first Manglorean cuisine restaurant in Mumbai serves home-style food which tempts its guest to come here again and again. Mr. Karkerra himself have his lunch and dinner in the restaurant.

The restaurant has witnessed many celebrity guest like Kapoor Family, Jaya Bachan, Suman Rangnathan, Sunil Gavaskar, Dilip Vengsarkar and many more. With the success of first restaurant in Fort-Mumbai, Mahesh Lunch Home was able to expand to Juhu, Thane and Pune. The restaurant is planning to expand itself in other cities also. Its rated as one of the top sea food joints in the world.

It offers the best fish and crab recipes that are just mouth watering. A bit priced for the crabs but will definitely not leave you complaining on that. Will continue dining out there for sea food. Long live Mahesh Lunch Home.
