I mostly travel by the State Transport buses. Since last 30 years, I've been traveling in Maharashtra, Karnataka, Gujrat, Andhra Pradesh and Tamilnadu. From the last so many years, one thing I noticed is, MSRTC has been ignoring the services provided by them towards the passenger buses they ply. The condition is worst. Buses are not maintained at all. Both functional and aesthetics aspects are at bay. Lot of improvement is required in punctuality. Passengers spit Pan, Gutkha, tobacco under their seats and in and around the sitting area. Most of the buses are foul smelling. Vibration of window glasses is terrible. The bus body building is very poor.
I really appreciate the services provided by KSRTC(Karnataka Road Transport). Its just amazing! 90% buses are high-tech. Cleanliness and regulararity is well maintained. Compared to all states, I have noticed that KSRTC is on the Top. Why not? Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation(KSRTC), which has received 165 international and National awards for its unique initiatives, which has been officially entered in the Limca Book of Records. MSRTC should discuss this with KSRTC and satisfy Mahahastrians by improving their quality of Transport Services.
