Maharaja brand was popular one time-say before 6-7 years but now if any one plan to buy this I would say don't go for it.My parents were using Maharaja mixer at my home may be 15 years ago.It worked fine for 13 years-but that was the old Maharaja brand.Seeing that I bought a new Maharaja whiteline popular and problems with this mixer started just after 6 months of buying.First the mixer blade had problem, .We went in search of authorized people for repair..but there was almost none here near Borivali..someone told there is one at Dadar which was too far.
From Star bazar we got a Maharaja dealer number but they re-directed us to some other number. Again they re-directed to another number. At the end we ended up reaching no where. Then we replaced the blade from a local shop, after that rotary switch had problem which was repaired from local shop..still the switch had problem 3 times.Though we have guarantee for this we couldn't replace it since the mixer was already worked upon in a local shop.The only option was to throw the mixer.So dont go for it...Try Sumeet, Preethi.
