I have been user of MTNL Jeevan sathi Life time prepaid service. The service provided is good. There is automatic roaming facility which is very useful for people on the move. Only recharge your amount ( remember AD of Hero Honda of yesteryears fill it and forget it ) and make a move. As MTNL and BSNL have pact , roaming is fussless all over India.As soon as card is recharged , you get message within seconds showing the balance amount, unlike others who take hours.

There is less of annoying calls and messages in MTNL soliciting business from credit cards, banks.You can get signal in most places even in deep jungles ( I have got it ) but slight problem in concrete jungles of cities.People using cellular ( mobile ) phones only for making contacts or conversation can defenitely opt for service of Mahanagar Telephone Nigam Limited (  MTNL  ).Another problem is that recharge coupons ( cards ) are not available in every nook and corner of street. You have go MTNL service centre or big shops.
