I shifted to Magnum Honda since the dealership was just a few kilometers from my house(with no traffic signals from home to service center) But guys, stay away from Magnum -their service isn’t good enough. I usually get my car serviced a little earlier than schedule, and they couldn't a do a good job.
They are unable to follow service schedules. Depending on the way the car is driven, you need to get your car serviced. For instance I was to make a road trip from Bangalore to Mumbai to Nagpur to Hyderabad and back to Bangalore. Before such a long trip its always advisable to get a service and oil change. That time my car had done approx 10k kms, but Magnum serviced the car as per the 15k schedule as specified in the owners manual. Then at 17k kms(after I returned from the trip, they serviced as per the 20k schedule. Actually what was required was a general service.
Earlier at Magnum, I had complained of suspension noise, and dashboard noise. Magnum never did anything about the suspension noise, and could never solve the dashboard rattling noise ever. And everytime my car was serviced at Magnum Honda, I don't know why, but the brakes felt as if there’s oil on it. Dangerous condition! And it usually took about a week before the brakes could be normal again - that too after spraying it with water and a car wash solution! I really missed several accidents because of this condition.
There is one good aspect about Magnum Honda - unlike Whitefield Honda. If some silly biker scrapes against your dashboard, Magnum will paint just that scraped section. At Whitefield Honda, you'll have to pay for the entire bumper painting. And that is so expensive.
But the bottom line- Honda is good for its smooth engine and ride. During service, this is what counts - if the engine and ride quality is serviced, then your car stays in a good condition. Else, god help you.
My recommendation - stay away from Magnum for the time being until they have enough experience servicing cars. Its a new dealership.
