Introductions

Maggie the noodles: Maggie noodles does not need any introductions. We all have had the "good fortune" of having and relishing maggie at some point of time...and usually it is one of those times when our cooking abilities/ patience/food has run out and Maggie has been a life saver!
Me the anonymous: Maggie ( as I am known in my circle!) needs introduction...but not to a lot of you. I was christened by this famous name, 4 years back...I was told that since I was a life saver for some of my friends ( read that as proxy attandance and copying notes!) and I had curly hair and a name that was too long(!)...I would be called Maggie...so from Megha I became Maggie. In case you do not see the relation, don't think too much!

Maggie the noodles:Those of you who have tasted Maggie would by now know that it is full of things that are'nt the best for your health. It has "maida" which can hamper the growth of a child and can adversely effect people at a later stage in life. But then, what is life without some risks! Maggie offers immediate relief to empty stomaches and is not as bad as the cold drinks we drink each day...so in a way it is good, tempting with some avoidable qualities!
Me the anonymous: Back to me...am I good, tempting and can be avoided if not ignored? Well, my baptists felt that way...! " you are irrestible just like Maggie and dependable too...!" It just went on and on...but the bottom line was clear for me...and it is for you too! I was accepted the way I was, with the a pinch of ego/fights and anger thrown in.

Maggie the noodles:The noodles are best loved for their affordability and price. They have consistently hiked the prices but it still fits in the budget of the eater! As for availabiliy, you can find Maggie at any local kirana shop...let me know if you cannot! The best part about the noodles is that it is readily available and is fast to cook and good to eat!
Me the anonymous: That is a tricky one! Trust me, you will not find me as easily ;-) I am readily available for friends and that is where the relevance comes from! Price...heard of the term " priceless"...that's me! My timings are not as quick as Maggie noodles but I am still known to be "Miss Two minutes"...don't think too much into that as well ;-)

Maggie the anonymous:Maggie noodles still rock...but they are losing their charm...why? They are trying to reinvent themselves a bit too much and that is not bein accepted by the public. The health activists are behind moms to tell them how maggie noodles is not a milk/egg alternative and children needs to be steared away from it...they are fighting a losing battle...but the situation can change, any day. The star is blinking still..!
Me the star:It is not the anonymous life anymore. I have been made a "star" and it feels good to be identified...the "maggie" charm still remains but with star studded qualities! In case you are wondering, the basic ingredients still remain the same...but the packaging is different ;-) I still hold on to my admirers and the number keeps increasin! Modesty is thy name:)
Well that was me and my namesake "Maggie noodles" for you! I would not encourage any patent quarrels on this...!
Credits: My foodie friends who thought so much for me and my identity...Shyam for making me realise that "chain emails" for the meet this month will not fetch me any browny men...i meant points! Last but not the least...Maggie noodles...they are my identity!
