We born in a generation that actually don't remember since when we are having maggi. Maggi for us was a snack, lunch ans sometimes dinner too. Since My hostel days I am having it, I used to make maggi inside the hostel room by hot plate though it wasnt allowed.
Its easy to make, and anyone can make it by boiling it in water. It can be improvise by adding vegetables to it.
Its tastes is Indian style, takes in spices.
I had also had Top ramen, knoor and even sunfeast noodles but maggi's taste is unbeatable.
Currently It is being banner, in almost every part of India because of lead particles found in maggi samples. So don't buy it if you are getting it until the regulator give nod to Nestle, its parent company.
