Review of Madurai Kamaraj University (MKU) MBA course by a student who read the whole first year (two semester) course material of 10 subjects:
The MKU MBA course is a Total EMBARRASSMENT. Never ever think of it. If you have already joined the course, QUIT today. You'll lose only your money and the time you already spent. If you pursue it and complete it, it will be a big tragedy and shame. There are several other courses worthy of your time and money.
--> Each page of the course material has at least 10 TERRIBLE grammatical mistakes. (Remember, you may not have seen as many mistakes in your 15-year or 16-year education prior to joining this ridiculous university.)
--> This means about 2, 000 TERRIBLE mistakes in ONE subject of about 200 pages. Make your own estimates for the 20 subjects!
* The following are in addition to the above grammatical mistakes ...
--> Spelling mistakes are the order of the day!
--> Punctuation is totally off!
--> Senseless content, missing content, incomplete sentences, repeating portions
--> Crammed content; Very very few diagrams, and those few are nonsensical
--> Copied from other courses / text books, with the insertion of all the errors
--> The low fee isn't actually low when you consider the quality! The course is cheap in cost and worthless in quality!
--> Any overseeing body that recognizes such a course cannot be rated as having the credentials to be an evaluating unit. All universities & colleges that are approved by the same bodies that approve the MKU course should hang their heads in shame.
--> The course is not recognized anywhere abroad. (No surprises there!)
--> If you've completed any graduation fairly well, you can definitely choose, pursue, and complete a better MBA course. Don't worry about the time or money wasted, and select a better university, because you've to live with the PG degree for the rest of your life.
--> We have a responsibility to educate society about the pitfalls of such non-competitive programs. Please circulate this message - STAY AWAY FROM MKU / QUIT MKU TODAY
(This is my sincere opinion. I joined the course and wrote the examinations of one semester, passed 4 of the 5 papers in the first semester, despite those tens of thousands of errors in the first semester course material; then paid the examination fee for the 5 subjects of the second semester; studied 4 subjects of the second semester, and then decided to QUIT and not write any of the second semester exams because of the outrageously inferior course material of the second semester too.
I consulted several other people and all who know about the MKU share the same extremely low opinion about the MKU courses. I am planning to join some other MBA course).
