Uestion... when was the last time you have seen a good 3D movie which you really enjoyed? If your answer is few months back and movie is Avatar then you are right. That was one of the best movie made so far with such a grand details covered. But here comes a full entertainment package for you.. 3D movie with really nice effects, amazing animations and life like characters. The movie has the best thing that it keeps you busy and engross every second of your quality time which you spend there. Though it is an animation movie with stunning visuals, it is not only perfect movie to enjoy for kids but also equally entertaining for grown up persons like you and me.
Past and Present
This one is third in the series and takes you to Europe this time, the previous ones took to America and Africa. Madagascar was the excellent movie, although sequel of the same was not good and did not do good business, third part has brought back the name, fame and reputation of Dreamworks back to its apex.
The movie
The movie starts with 4 pals still stuck in Africa and finding ways to go back to New York. Movie is all about the four main characters and their numerous mates who meets them in their journey.
Alex the lion, Melman the Girrafe, Gloria the Hippo and Marty the Zebra. The escapade takes the four pals to Europe this time, where they find a circus and the movie starts rocking from here.
The best characters
I personally enjoyed all the characters in the movie but the most enjoyable character was of French animal control officer Chantel DuBois, who won't stop until she puts Alex's head on her wall.
Entertainment moments
While I was watching the movie in theatre, on my back seat there was a lady who was watching the movie and with every effect in the movie she was screaming. Initially I thought she might be having a kid with her, so she is making all such noises to make her kid interested in the movie but when I turned back and saw her... OMG... she had no kids with her but she was enjoying the 3D nature of the movie, the effects and comic scenes... truly amazing.
Kudos to the Indians
It was amazing to know that the marvelous visual effects were created under the supervision of an Indian Mahesh Ramasubramanian. Not only he contributed in the movie making but also there were many local technical talents were used... kudos to the team... great work done guys!
My two cents:
I will give my two cents to Madagascar 3, simply because of its nice pyrotechnics, acrobatics, jaw dropping animations and grand picturization... its worth to watch. A must show for kids... don't miss.
