Maa Vaishnu devi Mandir is situated in Jammu and Kashmir which is easily accessible either by train or by bus even air services are aslo available. the distance between Katra and Temple is 14 Km approx.
You can took a room in any hotel in Katra and rest for a while then you can start your journey( suggested to start in the evening).
As temple is situated on the top of the mountain so it is itself become a sightseeing which attract many foreigners and Indian people.
