MTV lacks all that It had once. Now with many of the energetics moved out MTV has nothing much to offer, except than for the CHAOS-on-Screen for its viewers. There was once a time, with BAKRA & ROADIES(Initial series), people still remember those times. And GOD alon knows why we do not hear some good English Numbers! Even the(G)Oldies would do.
But MTV is full of sh*t now a days.
With VJs only blabbering on screen with the stuff irrelevant to anyone and everyone. It started with Bakra, that the channel eneterd into the league of making FUN / FOOL of anyone or someone atleast. But then; they gradually moved to making fun of the stupid NEWS that we get to see and the boring and sloppy TV Soaps but also maintained the insights of Bollywood Scandals and News. But Even that has been gradually turned into something called as - Making fun of everyone and hurt no one kinda thing. Eventually - Now you see that VJ's pulling other VJ's Legs. Its really unbearable to see MTV nower days. I do not even know why was that ROCK-ON series started? It was a blooper in all. Splitsvilla is good. But I really suggest Bindass's Emotional Atyachar to you for real good entertainment.
MTV screwed up big-time begining from ROADIES. When Raghu used to scold anyone, it was fun. He had that content. But then Mr. Chinappa had to Enter forcefully. And its just a Blant soup instead of a spicy curry. Ayushman and Rhea are two good VJ's capable to hold on, but Bani and Jose aint got that thing in them - et all. People really loved Cyrus Broacha come on screen again.
He has that MTV Originality in him - Still!
I do not know if anyone remembers - I used to watch that food tasting show on MTV(Cyrus B And Bumpy). MTV had it all, Apne-hi-pair-par-kuladi-mar-di! Now Bindass is the choice of the Youth. I do not know why is that Wassup series going on still? Stripped, Fantastic 5 are still strict okay. MTV needs to be Dynamic!
