Dear readers, my review on MTV Roaides. It is a youth program in which the contestant has to go through many GD rounds and finally the personal interview round to get featured on the show. It is an adventurous road trip show in which the contestants have to different types of task to stay in the show and win money which the final winner wins.
This show has very quickly got itself connected with the youth that can be seen with the increasing number of participants each passing year. The weakest contestant on the show is voted out from the show by the fellow contestants.
I like this show because being a youth I can easily attach myself with the show and it gives a good platform for the youth to get a limelight and make their career in television. Being an adventure lover and a bike lover, I like the bikes in the show which is Hero Honda Karizma at the start and then now it is Hero impulse, I like the task given to the contestant which are always very challenging because every task tests the mental and physical fitness of the contestants. All the tasks are very unique and exciting and some task belongs to the region in which they are travelling.
The best part of the show is the anchor “Ranvijay” who himself is an ex- roadie and the judge duo Raghu and Rajeev reward a contestant who has outplayed his/her potential with a bike.
The only thing I don’t like much in the show is during the personal interview sometimes things get out of hand and it gets violent, physically as well as verbally. Abusing of the judges on a national television is also not appreciated as it does not give good message to the outside world and viewer.
There are many competitive channels but none of the channels have any such show with which the youth can connect with.
