I bought this phone Micromax Q5 ezpad couple of months ago and I am happy to be owner of this phone because of following reasons:
1) I recharged this less phone compared to previous owned nokia phone. It has very good battery life.
Even after heavy browsing and talking over weekend , Phone required only charging thrice week.
2) I have got Airtel 2G GPRS activated to use the opera mini browser. The speed of browser depends on
Airtel mobile network traffic. I tried out face book, windows messenger, Orkut , Gmail, Trading websites(couple of Wap sites) and it really worked great. It helped me when I wanted to check cricket scores when I am away from home.
3) I was surprised by the audio output (yamaha) that phone provided.I enjoyed hearing latest song using the head phone that was provided.
4) Of course, I am enjoying the dual sim facility which helps to switch between two GSM Sims. This is a key driver to buy this phone.
Things that did not impress me in this phone:
1) Dual sim lacked the call waiting facility. Couple of times my friends heard the busy tone while I was answer call on one line.
2) Software interface to load music or load phone numbers that is provided along with phone is not great. I am missing Nokia in that regard.
3)Multitasking of Java application is not great. While I was hearing music I was not able to switch easily to other task such as calling friends or checking sms. Though, I was able to receive calls while I am browsing or listening to music.
4) Ordinary Camera. The picture quality not great.
To sum it up, It is good stylish andeconomic phone for someone who enjoys browsing and is lookingfor dual sim phone. I had somedifficulty in setting up the opera mini browser that was pre-installed. With help of couple of buddies in internet I was able to setup the Opera mini.
Opera mini rocks!!! .It is great for browisng Wap sites.
