That's sure he was a great batsman and very good player. I think he was the best player of onside as well as offside. His strokes use to be elegent. I remember the match in b & H tournament in australia when he was newcomer and india was in desperate position as shrikant and gavaskar went early and he and shastri were there in the middle. he showed great temerament that time.
But recently what he have done after accused for taking money is not respectebale. He should not forget that he was at the supreme position in team for at least 7 years as a caption. That time no indian thought about his relegion. and now he is trying to get relegion in between the game. no way. All indians supported him because he is indian and playing for india.
