Have been using this soap since I was a kid has a nice fragrance and feels great on your body, has very little moisturising effect and most dries up the ski.
It was perfect for me as I used to have oily skin when I was little. Now there are a plethora of modern soaps whose fragrances were overpowering or were too moisturising.
But lux had the perfect combination of both worlds and their ads on television were legendary, though it has established itself as a ladies soap many men use it for the above qualities. It is also very good at removing dirt and grime. I don't think that it has any anti septic properties. The cost of lux is not expensive also.
